Jaguar XJ: 2011 Model

The new model of Jaguar XJ is coming in three variants: base, supersport and supercharged with variant size of wheel base. Features like:-

1. Heated rear seats with leather seat covers,
2. Without key start, adjustable driver’s seat,
3. Heated and cooled front seats, a navigation system,
4. A large space of 30GB for the storage of music,
5. Also satellite radio
6. Good ipod connectivity

The safety features included in all the variants are as follows:-

1. Front safety with dual front air bags and side air bags
2. Active front head restraints
3. Brake assist with anti-lock brakes
4. Monitoring the air pressure
5. Electronic distribution of brake-force
6. Monitoring blind spots for avoiding accidents
7. In spite of rear mirror rear view camera.

In the supercharged version wheel base gets increased to 20-inch, 1,200 watt audio system, headlights gets turn on and off automatically when traffic is detected, cooled rear seats. Supersport is loaded with radar cruise control, DVD entertainment system for rear.

The car is supplied modern engine with 4 valves per cylinder, variable timing and direct injection. Jaguar has 3 5.0 litre overhead v8 engines. Power supplied in the base version is around 385 horsepower, that in supercharged is 470 and in supersport version is 510 horsepower.Engines has 6speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability. The fual economy according to Environmental Protection Agency is 16mpg in city and 23 on highways. These values decreases to 15,22 and 15,21 for the supercharged and supersport varsions.
